TC260 adopted practice guide to cybersecurity standards-technical requirements for network data labelling

On 4 February 2026, the National Network Security Standardization Technical Committee Secretariat (TC260) adopted the practice guide to cybersecurity standards-technical requirements for network data labelling to assist network data processors in improving security management. The document establishes technical specifications for network data identification, including terminology, attribute formats, generation rules, and log retention requirements. It aims to facilitate the protection of important data and personal information while strengthening traceability across the entire data lifecycle. The guide is formulated based on the Cybersecurity Law, the Data Security Law, the Network Data Security Management Regulations, and the Personal Information Protection Law to standardise the application of network data labelling technology.
