On 2 February 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade closed the public consultation, which had been open since 21 January 2026, on the draft Law amending Laws on commerce, competition, foreign trade management, and consumer protection, including fair marketing and advertising practices. The draft Law would contain measures violations of competition laws. In its report, the Ministry identified a number of unfair competitive practices in e-commerce that it was aiming to address through amendments to the Competition Law, including misleading trade indications, fake reviews, and manipulation of interaction metrics affecting consumers.
