On 21 January 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade opened a public consultation until 2 February 2026, on the Draft Law amending the Law on Commerce, the Law on Competition, the Law on Foreign Trade Management, and the Law on Consumer Rights Protection including unilateral conduct regulation. The draft law proposes amendments to the Law on Competition addressing abuse of a dominant market position and monopoly practices. It introduces specific provisions for digital platforms, covering self-preferential treatment and discriminatory conduct. The draft also prohibits the imposition of unfair transaction conditions, the forced use of certain services, and restrictions on alternative services. In addition, it addresses interference with ranking mechanisms and the abuse of business user data.
