Protecting Personal Health Data Act introduced in Senate

On 22 January 2021, the Protecting Personal Health Data Act (S. 24) was introduced in the US Senate. The bill creates a national task group on health data privacy and instructs the Department of Health and Human Services to regulate data protection on consumer-targeted health data collection devices, apps and software.
