On 7 January 2026, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) postponed the deadline for 37 technology companies to 13 February 2026 to submit information on the implementation of technical and organisational measures under the Law for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in Digital Environments (Law No. 15,211). The ANPD aims to assess the current stage of implementation of the legal requirements and map the initiatives adopted by companies that offer digital products or services accessible to children and adolescents. By gathering this data, the ANPD seeks to evaluate the level of legal compliance maturity across various economic sectors and identify challenges faced by market agents in adapting to the new statute.
