On 16 June 2025, the National Assembly adopted Law No. 75/2025/QH15, amending Articles 4 and 23 of the Law on Advertising. Article 4 sets out the state management framework for advertising activities, including inspection, examination, and handling of violations. Article 23 establishes enforcement powers in the online advertising context. Competent state authorities may require organisations and individuals participating in online advertising to block and remove unlawful advertisements within 24 hours. In cases of non-compliance, authorities may implement technical measures to prevent violations. Telecommunications enterprises and Internet service providers must block infringing advertisements upon request
