On 22 December 2025, the Artificial Intelligence Bill of Rights (SB 482) including public procurement access regulation was introduced to Florida Senate. Governmental entities would be restricted from extending or renewing contracts that provide access to personal identifying information to specified entities. Governmental entities would also be required to reject bids, proposals, or replies for artificial intelligence technology, software, or products unless the bidding entity submits an affidavit attesting compliance with statutory eligibility requirements. Entry into force is set for 1 July 2026.
