Vietnam: Law on Artificial Intelligence including measures on use of AI in public sector was introduced to National Assembly

On 27 November 2025, the Law on Artificial Intelligence was introduced to the National Assembly of Vietnam. The Law regulates the use of AI in the public sector, including measures regarding bidding and ethical obligations. It aims to promote the development of Vietnam’s AI ecosystem by providing incentives and support under existing legislation and by facilitating access to infrastructure, data, and experimental environments for research, development, and commercialisation.
