Uzbekistan: President's Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies until 2030 entered into force

On 14 October 2024, the President issued the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies until 2030. The Strategy outlines goals and measures for the development of AI in Uzbekistan. The Strategy mandates the development of a regulatory framework aimed at supporting the development of AI technologies. The Strategy tasks the Ministry of Digital Technologies with developing and filing legislative documents, developing ethical rules for AI development and use, and developing national standards, among other things.
