Indonesia: Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs notified 25 global platforms to register as Private Electronic System Providers

On 19 November 2025, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs stated that 25 global platforms had been requested to register as Private Electronic System Providers (PSE) under Law Number 11 of 2008, Government Regulation Number 71 of 2019 (Article 96), and Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Number 5 of 2020. Cloudflare was identified as one of the 25 platforms and was informed that failure to register may lead to administrative sanctions, including termination of access.
