Ministry of Health implemented Regulation on Promotion and Information Activities in Health Services including fair marketing and advertising practice requirements

On 12 November 2025, the Ministry of Health published the Regulation on Promotion and Information Activities in Health Services in the Official Gazette, with the Regulation taking effect on the same date. The Regulation applies to healthcare professionals, private healthcare institutions, international health tourism intermediary organisations, and all written, visual, audio, and online promotional channels. The Regulation sets out principles for promotional and informational content about health services, including compliance with medical ethics and with medical procedures recognised by the Ministry of Health. The Regulation prohibits the use of misleading information, unofficial titles, incentives, discounts, and promotional content that may direct individuals to specific healthcare professionals or institutions.
