On 24 August 2021, the President and the Ministry of Industry and Technology published the National Articial Intelligence Strategy for 2021 - 2025. The Strategy sets several principles for AI technologies, namely proportionality, security, impartiality, privacy, transparency, accountability, data sovereignty and governance. The Strategy aims to develop human-oriented and reliable AI and emphasises that personal data collection for AI systems must respect privacy. The key strategic points are to enhanc AI employment, develop AI research, enhance data and infrastructure access, encourage socioeconomic adaptation and develop international cooperations. The Strategy further sets governance structures, announcing the establishment of a National Artificial Intelligence Strategy Board and Advisory Board.
