Turkiye: Adopted Regulation on Remote Identification Methods for banks

On 1 April 2021, the Regulation on Remote Identification Methods to be used by Banks and the Establishment of Contractual Relationships in Electronic Media was published in the official gazette of Turkiye. The regulation outlines remote identification methods that banks can use to verify new client's information and explains how new contractual relationships can be established via electronic means.
