On 15 August 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology closed the public consultation, which had been open since 12 August 2025, on the Draft Law on Digital Transformation, 2025. The Draft Law addressed requirements that organisations and individuals must obtain conformity certification, declare conformity, and apply conformity marks before introducing products, goods, processes, or services serving digital transformation or connecting to information systems of state agencies, as provided in Article 63(1) of the Digital Transformation Law. It also examined the authority of the Ministry of Science and Technology to determine categories subject to mandatory quality management and to issue applicable technical regulations and requirements under Article 63(2)(a) and Article 63(2)(b).
