Algeria: High Commission for Digitalisation (HCN) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) signed declaration of intent on national digital transformation

On 26 October 2025, Algeria's High Commission for Digitalisation (HCN) announced the signing of a declaration of intent in the field of digital transformation following a visit by the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The declaration is intended to accelerate the implementation of Algeria’s national digital transformation strategy, which is based on the pillars of digital infrastructure, human capital and training, research and innovation, digital governance, and the digital economy and society.
