National Communications Authority opened consultation on Electronic Communications Act, 2025 including operational licence requirement

On 16 October 2025, the National Communications Authority opened a consultation on the Electronic Communications Act, 2025, which includes provisions for operational licence requirements until 14 November 2025. The Act would require persons wishing to operate an electronic communications, broadcasting service or network to obtain a license from the authority.
