European Board for Digital Services announced coordinated action to ensure smaller platforms comply with DSA's obligations related to protection of minors

On 10 October 2025, the Working Group on the Protection of Minors within the European Board for Digital Services announced coordinated steps to support smaller online platforms in meeting their obligations under the Digital Service Act (DSA). In collaboration with the relevant national authorities, the Group will identify platforms that present the highest risks to children and assess their compliance with the DSA’s standards for child safety. Additionally, the Working Group will develop and disseminate shared tools and methodologies for investigations and enforcement, aiming to promote consistent application of child protection measures across the EU.
