United States of America: National Institute of Standards and Technology closes consultation on Cybersecurity Framework Manufacturing Profile

On 17 November 2025, the National Institute of Standards and Technology closes the consultation on the second version of the Cybersecurity Framework Manufacturing Profile. It applies to manufacturing organisations seeking to reduce and manage cybersecurity risk across their systems and operations. The Profile is voluntary and risk-based, aligned with manufacturing sector goals and industry best practices. It adds guidance on supply chain risk management, platform security, and technology infrastructure resilience.
