On 28 October 2019, the Competition Bureau Canada entered into a temporary consent agreement with the FlightHub Group and announced that it is continuing its investigation over the companies' alleged deceptive practices, which had begun in November 2018. In particular, the Competition Bureau alleges that the company that operates flighthub.com and justfly.com misled consumers about its services and practices by applying hidden fees and posting false online reviews. The allegations represent a violation of the Competition Act and if found guilty, the company risks an administrative fine of up to CAD 6 million.
