National Data Protection Authority of Brazil-Dubai International Financial Centre Authority signed Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in data protection

On 16 September 2025, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) of Brazil and the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority (DIFC) of the United Arab Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the 47th Global Privacy Assembly (GPA) in Seoul, South Korea, establishing mutual cooperation in the field of personal data protection and privacy. The MOU provides a framework for collaboration through the exchange of good regulatory practices, joint research projects, technical support, training and awareness programmes, as well as information exchange in relation to investigations and inspections.
