France: Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication issued statement condemning unblocking of jeanpormanove channel on Kick platform

On 22 August 2025, the Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication (Arcom) condemned the unblocking of the jeanpormanove channel on the Kick platform. The channel had previously broadcast violent content linked to the death of an individual. Arcom stressed that sharing recordings with authorities does not justify restoring public access to the channel. It demanded that Kick reinstate the block without delay and warned of possible enforcement measures if the platform fails to comply.
