Introduced Personal Data Protection Law

On 24 January 2020, the Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law is introduced in the Indonesian House of Representatives. The Law introduces definitions for personal data types and data controllers and processors. In particular, the Law describes the data requirements to obtain consent and implement the user rights to access and delete data, to withdraw the approval to data processing and to be informed on data processing.
