On 15 August 2025, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, through the National Secretariat for Digital Rights, the Directorate of Security and Risk Prevention in the Digital Environment, and the General Coordination of Rating Policies, ordinances establishing the age ratings of several audiovisual works enter into force. Feature films such as Raiders of the End of the World (2024) and Anonymous 2 (2025) were rated not recommended for under-18s, while the musical show Mônica Salmaso – My House (2025) was deemed suitable for all ages. The ordinances also covered several short films, trailers for international and domestic productions, the digital game Farming Simulator 25, and two Brazilian television programmes, Family Practice and Game on Screen. Each classification sets legally binding audience restrictions, thematic content descriptors, and broadcast time limits.
