United States of America: Florida Attorney General filed lawsuit against GGW Group and affiliates over failure to implement age verification mechanism

On 5 August 2025, the Florida Office of the Attorney General filed a legal complaint against GGW Group, GTFlix TV, and GGW Group, operating under the GirlsGoneWild domain, for alleged breaches of House Bill 3 (HB 3) and the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). Under HB 3, entities distributing sexually explicit material online are required to prevent access by minors through verified age restrictions. The lawsuit contends that GirlsGoneWild failed to implement such verification systems, allowing underage users in Florida to access its content. The Attorney General is pursuing court-mandated compliance with HB 3 and FDUTPA provisions.
