United Kingdom: ICO publishes guidance on the use of cookies and similar technologies

On 3 July 2019. the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) published guidelines regarding the use of cookies, as part of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), which govern the use of cookies and other similar technologies for storing and retrieving data on a user's devices. This document displays the rules on the use of cookies and other comparable technologies.
