Description

Communications Regulatory Authority issued order requiring blocking of livesport365 platform due to non-compliance with Law on copyright protection

On 10 July 2025, the Communications Regulatory Authority (AGCOM) issued an order requiring the blocking of the livesport365 platform due to non-compliance with the Law on copyright protection (Order No. 107/25/DDA). The order follows a complaint from DAZN, which holds exclusive rights to Serie A matches and the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The AGCOM found that the site systematically provided unauthorised access to protected audiovisual content. The order requires service providers to block DNS access to the site within 24 hours and to redirect users to an official notice page. It also allows for future blocking of any related domains or IP addresses.
