Fair Trade Commission fined Tium Communication KRW 110 million for violations of Electronic Commerce Act

On 1 July 2025, the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) fined Tium Communication KRW 110 million for violations of the Electronic Commerce Act. The FTC noted that Tium Communication did not refund consumers who cancelled their contracts due to delays and did not grant user access to withdrawal options. Tium Communication also failed to comply with the corrective measures after the order to refund consumers and the suspension of business for 135 days.
