Russia: Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media opened consultation on Draft Resolution on aggregator data sharing for security and law enforcement requests (Project ID 02/07/06-25/00157540)

On 18 June 2025, the Ministry of Digital Development opened a consultation on a Draft Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation "On the establishment of Rules for the provision of information by the owner of an aggregator using the unified system of interdepartmental electronic interaction upon request of an authorised state body conducting operational-search activities or ensuring the security of the Russian Federation" (Project ID 02/07/06-25/00157540) until 15 July 2025. The Resolution, if enacted, will enter into force on 1 September 2025. The proposed Rules stipulate that owners of information aggregators are to provide data concerning goods and services via a unified system of interdepartmental electronic interaction when requested by an authorised government agency conducting operational-investigative activities or ensuring the security of the Russian Federation.
