On 24 June 2025, the European Commission announced additional features for the AI-on-Demand platform for researchers and industry. The platform includes an AI marketplace, low-code development tools, and secure options for generative AI and large language models. It provides datasets, tools, and computing resources for researchers, as well as AI modules and resources for use by SMEs, businesses, and public sector organisations. Developed by the EU-funded projects AI4Europe and DeployAI, the platform is part of the AI Continent Action Plan. It acts as a central access point to a shared AI toolbox for the EU, with developers invited to register their tools to increase visibility and access to potential users. The platform is intended to support broader adoption of AI across sectors in Europe.
