On 12 May 2026, several provisions of the Regulation on measures to reduce the cost of deploying electronic communications networks come into application, focusing on permitting procedures and the use of single information points. Competent authorities must make information on the conditions and procedures for granting permits and rights of way available via a single information point in electronic format, including information on exemptions and electronic application submission methods. Operators gain the right to submit applications for necessary permits and rights of way electronically via the single information point and retrieve information on their application status. Network operators and public sector bodies must make minimum information about existing physical infrastructure and planned civil works available via a single information point in electronic format and promptly provide updates.
