Republic of Korea: Fair Trade Commission issued ruling in investigation into Com2uS over alleged misleading claims relating to reward acquisition probabilities

On 16 June 2025, the Fair Trade Commission fined Com2uS KRW 2.5 million and imposed corrective measures for false advertising of the probability of obtaining the "Equipment Item Ability Increase" effect through the "Quick Operation Reward" item in the game Starseed: Asnia Trigger. Com2uS claimed a 24% acquisition probability, but the actual chance was 0%. The FTC’s actions include prohibiting similar future conduct and requiring reports on preventive measures.
