State Administration for Market Regulation closes consultation on draft regulations on the supervision and management of live E-commerce including quality of service requirement

On 10 July 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation closes consultation on the draft regulations on the supervision and management of live E-commerce. The regulations require platform operators to guarantee stable streaming performance, promptly remove non-compliant content during livestreams, and preserve livestream records for at least three years to support consumer protection. They are also required to maintain moderation teams proportionate to their operational scale to manage content in real time.
