Description

Communications Regulatory Authority issued Order disabling access to ilgeniodellostreaming for copyright violations (No. 66/25/DDA)

On 9 May 2025, the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority (AGCOM) issued an order under the copyright regulation to block access to new domain names used by the piracy website ilgeniodellostreaming, following a previous blocking decision. The order applies to online intermediaries and infrastructure providers involved in the unauthorised distribution of copyrighted audiovisual content, including internet service providers, domain name system services, and content delivery networks including Cloudflare, NameCheap, and BuyVM. AGCOM confirmed that the infringing service had resumed operations via ilgeniodellostreaming.beer and ilgeniodellostreaming.at, and instructed providers to disable access to these within two days.
