Financial Conduct Authority closes consultation on AI Live Testing proposal

On 10 June 2025, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) closes its consultation on the proposed AI Live Testing service. Feedback was collected via online form, email, and postal submission to the FCA’s Advanced Analytics team. The FCA will review the responses to inform the final design of the pilot, which is expected to begin in summer 2025. The initiative aims to support the responsible deployment of advanced AI models in live UK financial markets. Insights from the consultation will help shape model evaluation methods, risk mitigation approaches, and the FCA’s supervisory framework for AI systems. A report on findings is scheduled for publication in spring 2026.
