European Union: European Commission opened investigation into Invesco Limited's acquisition of Mitel Network (International) Limited (M.11949)

On 4 April 2025, the European Commission initiated its review of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of the EU Merger Regulation (Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004), following notification of Invesco Ltd’s intention to acquire sole control of Mitel Networks (International) Limited and its subsidiaries. The transaction is under assessment to determine whether it may significantly impede effective competition within the European Economic Area. The case (M.11949 – INVESCO / MITEL) has been identified as eligible for assessment under the Commission’s simplified procedure.
