Italy: Communications Regulatory Authority opened investigation into aznude over alleged copyright infringement (Protocol No. DDA/605)

On 18 April 2025, the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority announced an investigation into the unauthorised dissemination of four audio-visual works on the website aznude.com, in potential breach of Law No. 633/1941 on the Protection of Copyright and Neighboring Rights. The investigation applies to digital platforms involved in hosting or providing access to copyrighted media. The Authority confirmed the presence of the disputed content and identified GoDaddy.com and Cloudflare Inc. as the domain and hosting providers, respectively. The notice requires the internet service providers operating to restrict access to the infringing content and inform the Authority.
