Communications Regulatory Authority opened investigation into mrskin over alleged copyright infringement (Protocol No. DDA/600)

On 18 April 2025, Italian Communications Regulatory Authority announced an investigation on the unauthorised dissemination of audio-visual work on the website mrskin.com. The notice applies to digital content infrastructure providers, including NameCheap Inc., Cloudflare Inc., and MojoHost, who are involved in registering, proxying, or hosting the content. The notice, based on alleged breaches of Law No. 633/1941 on the Protection of Copyright and Neighboring Rights, requires the providers, as well as Internet Service Providers enabling access from Italy, to voluntarily remove the infringing material and notify the Authority.
