Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Department of Broadcasting, Television and Electronic Information published procedure for notifying contact information of foreign entities providing cross-border advertising services into Vietnam

On 14 March 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Department of Broadcasting, Television and Electronic Information implemented a notification procedure for foreign organisations and individuals intending to provide cross-border advertising services into Vietnam, pursuant to Decree No. 181/2013/NĐ-CP (as amended by Decree No. 70/2021/NĐ-CP). Entities must notify the Ministry at least 15 days prior to commencing advertising operations and provide details including legal entity name, hosting location, and local contact person (if applicable). Upon receipt of a valid notification, the Ministry issues a written confirmation within seven working days. No fees apply.
