Utah Digital Choice Act (HB 418) including data protection regulation was signed by Governor

The Division of Consumer Protection is responsible for rulemaking and enforcement, with authority to impose administrative fines and pursue civil penalties. The Act is scheduled to take effect on 1 July 2026.
