Algeria: Law No. 18-04 establishing the general rules relating to post and electronic communications including authorisation of goods or services entered into force

On 13 May 2018, Law No. 18-04 establishing the general rules relating to post and electronic communications entered into force. Articles 143-144 require homologation (certification of conformity) for communication equipment and radio installations, with penalties for non-compliant distribution under Article 174.
