Algeria: Law No. 18-04 establishing the general rules relating to post and electronic communications including interoperability requirement entered into force

On 13 May 2018, Law No. 18-04 establishing the general rules relating to post and electronic communications entered into force. Article 10 defines "interoperability" as the ability of equipment and networks to function together, while Article 97 mandates that operators guarantee interoperability of services to ensure seamless communication between different networks and devices.
