Algeria: Law No. 10-05 amending and supplementing Ordinance No. 03-03 on competition including anti-competitive agreements regulation entered into force

On 18 August 2010, Law No. 10-05 amending and supplementing Ordinance No. 03-03 on competition, including anti-competitive agreements regulation, entered into force. The law expanded its scope under Article 2 to explicitly cover agriculture, livestock, fishing, artisanal activities, and trade intermediaries such as brokers and importers. It maintained prohibitions on restrictive practices while ensuring these rules applied uniformly across the newly included sectors.
