Ordinance No. 03-03 on competition including anti-competitive agreements regulation entered into force

On 20 July 2003, Ordinance No. 03-03 on competition entered into force. Articles 6-10 ban explicit or implicit agreements that restrict competition, including price-fixing, market-sharing, and output limitation. Exemptions apply only if such agreements contribute to economic progress, improve employment, or strengthen Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), provided the Competition Council grants prior approval.
