Online Certificate Status Protocol for key public cybersecurity infrastructure (GB/T 19713-2025) enters into force

On 1 September 2025, the national cybersecurity standard titled Cybersecurity Technology: Public Key Infrastructure, Online Certificate Status Protocol (GB/T 19713-2025) enters into force. This standard supersedes the previous version, GB/T 19713-2005, and introduces enhanced mechanisms for verifying the revocation status of digital certificates. By enabling real-time status checks, the protocol aims to strengthen the integrity of digital authentication systems and support secure online transactions and communications across public services, financial systems, e-commerce platforms, and other critical sectors.
