China: Cyberspace Administration updated register of cloud platforms that passed cloud computing service security assessment

On 12 March 2025, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) updated its register of cloud computing platforms that passed the national security assessment. The register covers a range of service models, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). It lists platforms operated by providers, including Unicom Digital Technology, Alibaba Cloud Computing, Huawei cloud computing technology, and Inspur software group. It details the security evaluation scope for each platform, including the data center locations, the technical institutions responsible for assessments, and the validity period of certification.
