Law No. 14-04 on the Audiovisual Activity including fair marketing and advertising practices entered into force

On 23 March 2014, Law No. 14-04 on the Audiovisual Activity entered into force. The law prohibits misleading advertising and requires transparency in commercial promotions (Article 48). Advertisements must not contain false claims or exploit consumer trust, with violations subject to regulatory sanctions.
