Egypt: Consumer Protection Law (promulgated by Law No.181 of 2018) including non-discrimination requirement entered into force

On 14 December 2018, the Consumer Protection Law (promulgated by No. 181 of 2018) entered into force. The law mandates equal treatment for all consumers, ensuring no form of discrimination affects consumer access to goods and services (Article 13).
