Prime Minister signed Partial Amendment to Personal Information Protection Committee Organization Enforcement Rules (Prime Minister's Decree No. 2026)

On 4 March 2025, the Prime Minister adopted the Partial Amendment to the Personal Information Protection Committee Organization Enforcement Rules (Prime Minister's Decree No. 2026), with immediate effect. The amendment introduces a temporary staffing system within the Personal Information Protection Committee to enhance the investigation of personal information breach incidents. This system, as outlined in Appendix 3, will be in effect until 31 December 2025, and is established under Article 25, Paragraph 1 of the "General Rules on the Organization and Staffing of Administrative Agencies."
