On 27 September 2024, the Ministry of Interior and National Administration opened a public consultation on the Draft Critical Infrastructure Protection Bill, 2024, with the consultation period set to close on 22 October 2024. The consultation invites members of the public and stakeholders to submit their memoranda on the Bill, which aims to establish the National Critical Infrastructure Protection Committee and create a national database for critical infrastructure assets.
