Poland: Ministry of Digitalisation opened consultation on draft Act on protection of minors against access to harmful content on the Internet

On 26 February 2025, the Ministry of Digitalisation opened a public consultation on the draft Act on the protection of minors against access to harmful content on the Internet until 26 March 2025. The draft Act aims to limit minors' access to pornographic content and increase the responsibility of internet service providers for content provided on their platforms. The Ministry seeks information on the definition of harmful content that should be restricted to minors, reliable age verification methods for access to online platforms, and additional safeguards to protect minors from harmful content on the internet.
